Hi, we are soon going to start my son's potty training. Any recommendations for good potty training pants ? and also if you have any tips to help us with the process. Thank you !

I read in a book not to use any potty pants as they feel like a nappy on best to get boxers it worked well with my friend :)

Our Son had chicken pox which we used to say to him they were ‘big boy bumps’ and it would go along with wearing no nappy’s anymore. He was so proud of being a big boy it also got him potty trained in the same time. We had him naked in the house the first day and ever since just in normal underpants and trousers. No accidents and he’s now without them also on outings and at nursery.

We’ve stared potty training and I’m using just regular pants. Helps my boy feel and see if he has an accident. We tried completely naked but he got so upset and is much happier learning with just pants on x

I have carpeting all over my house, I am just worried accidents are gonna happen on carpet and I will not know how to clean them. So wanted to go for nappy pants so that he feels that he had done something and carpets can be spared. My friend suggested that nappy pants helped her daughter to train in 2 days !!

we potty trained a few months ago, just went straight from nappies to pants, the first few days were obviously full of accidents but she clocked on about day 3 and we now are fully potty trained

We went straight into knickers, never bothered with training pants. Used them with my first born and they were far too padded and he just thought he was still in a pull up! X

We used these. She can still feel when she’s wet but they don’t hold a lot of wee, so I wouldn’t buy these expecting them to contain a full bladder as an FYI! JackLoveBriefs 7 Pack Potty... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B085BKZZCM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I’ve not trained my November 22 baby yet, but when I did my eldest we did it in the summer with no pants so we could just be outside all the time so any accidents weren’t on the carpet. Going to wait until the summer holidays for my youngest too
