I'd try not to worry about this too much tbh. Children behave differently at nursery and adapt to the schedule even though they would have put up a fight at home. As an example, my kids have both been extremely difficult to get to nap - often involving the pram and long walk as a last resort. However, at nursery they lay down on a little mattress on the floor and fall asleep happily with someone rubbing their backs. That'd never fly at home 😆 So as much as it's difficult to imagine, just try to go with the flow. They'll be sick on and off for the first year or so and maintaining an absolutely consistent routine will be impossible anyway.
Our nursery do one main nap, but he did occasionally have a short one in the morning there too while he was transitioning. But we stuck with two at home for the first couple of months because he did still need it really.
Nursery should ideally follow your child’s schedule, especially at this young age. You can definitely ask them to keep the two-nap routine for a bit longer, it’s totally reasonable! We just started nursery last week (my LO is 13 months old) and they offered us three settling sessions before the official start. It really helped my little one adjust. He’s doing very well now, and we even received a happy photo of him at nursery through their app
