Im currently doing it now. Im moving my pumps further apart and then dropping the latest one. But before I drop it I reduce the time on that pump. Im currently down to 3 pumps a day. My next drop is my mid day pump so once im regulated to this in a week or 2 I will half my pump time on that then half it again over a couple of weeks before I totally drop it

When i say im moving them further apart. I dropped from 4 to 3 recently. I pushed all my pumps and hour further in the day for 3 days and kept my last pump at the same time but reduced the pump time until I dropped it

I did exactly the same as Louise has said! And then my right boob wanted to dry up faster so I ended up just pumping the left for an extra week or two! But listen to what your body is comfortable with. And be prepared that even after you don’t feel the need to stop you may still leak occasionally in the shower! Took me about 2 months after I’d stopped pumping to stop occasionally leaking.

I ended up dropping a pump a week over the span of a month. So I was pumping 5 times a day by the end of my pumping journey. First week I dropped to 4 pumps a day, second week to 3 pumps a day, third week 2 pumps a day, fourth week to 1 pump a day, and by week 5 just stopped.
