How much does your little one eat day to day?

My daughter is naturally petite and short for her age. She is a snack monster! And isn’t particularly fussy but I’m just wondering if she eats enough for her age or should she be eating more. I’m fairly strict that if she asks for snacks before 10am it’s only fruit which luckily she loves. Today so far she’s had: Breakfast: 1 wheatabix and a handful of blueberries Snack at 10 was a large snack a Jack rice cake Lunch: she always chooses, today she wanted bread and butter fingers, sliced boiled egg and tuna mayo and for pudding more blueberries and a couple of white choc buttons. When she wakes up she will asks for a snack so that will probably be some cheese and a banana or grapes Dinner tonight she has: fish, garlic bread, sweetcorn, carrots and potato and then pudding probably a small fromaige frais and mango slices. When writing down it sounds a lot but I’m just interested to know how much everyone else’s little one eats. She rarely asks for seconds.

She eats more than my little girl i’d say but mine is so fussy! From other posts about their sizes i’d say they are similar sized girls too. Yesterday mine ate… Breakfast 1 weetabix and a homemade smoothie Snack- piece of cheese, didn’t eat the blueberries i put out Lunch- pasta hidden veg sauce and a bit of easter chocolate Snack- milk, she was thirsty so kept asking and had almost a pint of it, usually she only has a couple of oz Tea- fish fingers chips and sweetcorn. She eat half a fish finger, all the chips and about 3 individual pieces of sweetcorn 😂 she had a yoghurt for pudding. She won’t eat fresh fruit at the minute hence the homemade smoothie in the morning.

@vicky I guess they eat enough for there size? She’s probably one of the smallest in her class at nursery and some of them have real hearty appetites!

@Lauren yeah i’m sure they’d eat more if they were hungry. I can tell when ivy is going through a growth spurt because she asks for weetabix after tea and eats about 3 of them 😂 Apparently at nursery she eats everything and usually has seconds, i think that’s just her doing what everyone else is though.
