It’s not low milk supply, your supply has just learnt to regulate better. Completely normal. Continue feeding as/when is normal for you and your baby

Soft breasts are not an indication of low milk supply. I only ever felt engorged in the early days when I breastfed and our journey lasted 2.5 years. Breastfeeding is based on supply and demand so the more milk you remove the more your body will produce. When baby feeds from the breast they are telling your body to produce more.

@Amy feeding from one breast or both per feed? My LO feeds occasionally from both sides , usually one per feed.

@Sadie thank you, i have been doubting my self, trust they feel so soft and doughy as if they are empty

Agree with the above, it’s not low milk supply and completely normal. I sometimes compress the breast with my hand to help get more milk out which improves the supply and demand (they’ll always be milk, your body is just getting better at regulating)

@Saira thank you 🙏

@Iqra I was always told to offer both breasts for every feed. Also, make sure you alternate between both breasts at the start of every feed. So if for example you started one feed on the left breast, then next time you feed start from the right breast and so on.

@Iqra hiya, I'm a breastfeeding counselor. It's around this stage that our breasts are fully regulated to babies needs and you will stop with the "full" feelings, but it doesn't mean you have a drop in supply at all. With regards to feeding from each breasts, follow your babies lead. It's perfectly fine to just feed on one, sometimes they'll have 2, sometimes switch back and have 3 or 4! There isn't a right or wrong, just what works for your baby. X

@Charlotte thank you 💕

@Charlotte if i try to break suction to offer other breast she wont take it, so i always regert offering other breast.

@Iqra don't worry about stopping the feed to switch especially, you can offer the other is she's still fussy after her feed, but there isn't a need to, if she wants it she'll make it clear.

This is normal and also happening to me. I used to have enough to feed both the baby and build a small freezer stash, plus pump enough for a nighttime bottle, but now I’m just about managing the night bottle (and that’s just because baby goes down to bed early so I pump before I go to bed) and no excess for the freezer! In the plus side, baby is getting super efficient at feeding 🤣
