Formula while camping
Hi all
I’ve just ended EBF and moving on to formula. This weekend we’re going camping , I don’t really want to use ready-made formula all weekend as expensive and lots of plastic waste
Is there a safe way to make up formula from powder while camping; we will have a camping stove so we can boil water , but obviously no fridge.

@Abi thank you. Can you just use bottled water to make up the remaining ozs, or does it have to be boiled and then cooled ?!
Has to be boiled and then cooled I think. bottled water isn’t safe for baby’s if I’m right x
Pretty sure it has to be boiled and cooled, something to do with sodium levels in bottled water I think?..

Have a look at the nuby rapid cool. You could use the “hot shot” method to make the bottles - boil the water, put an oz in a bottle, dissolve the formula in this, put the remaining ozs required in the nuby rapid cool to cool the water then add this to the bottle, this *should* make it the right temperature, but check first!
