Days before period bfp

I got a positive at 9dpo which was 4 days before my period but I thought it was negative and binned it and then tested on the day my period was due and was very clearly positive and then I picked the old test from dpo out the bin and it had a really really faint line x

@Lauren do you have short cycles?

They were 25 days when I was trying with my son but since they have gone to 26-27 x

I have short cycles between 23-26 days and i found out cycle day 25, not sure when I ovulated but I was testing like every day for a week till it showed up, I may have ovulated late that cycle? Idk it was surprising
