Each baby has its times and phases, if he cries and wakes up it is because he may be going through separation anxiety, what babies need is comfort and feeling safe. They won’t be babies all their lives. Be patient.
I am so grateful I did sleep training. Like you, I had my own final straw moment, too. I was very emotional in the process, but it was worth it in the end. He now sleeps well (occasional setbacks though) and gets good rest, which helps with his mood, my mood, his brain development, etc. I had gone back to work when I did it and chose a Thursday to start. Hugs to you mama.
Sleep training was the best thing I’ve ever done. It was a hard 3 nights but she’s been sleeping through the night in her own room since 4 months. It’ll be hard for both of you at first, but then you’ll both sleep so much better after.
