How does your toddler sleep abroad?

So we're off on holiday in June and my LO is in a standard single bed which I'm fine with BUT it's quite far off the ground. At home he sleeps in a toddler bed with a rail to make sure he doesn't fall out. How would you recommend having him sleep? We were thinking either putting the mattress on the floor but I can't imagine that being the cleanest or buying travel rails but that'll weigh down our luggage allowance. Any tips or tricks would be fab 😊

How old is your little one? We were in Lanzarote in March with our 3 year old and took some inflatable bed bumpers that you put under the sheet with us which worked well and then popped a pillow under the sheet at the end of the bed x

@Gemma he's 3 in September, what an amazing idea! Do you have a link on Amazon or anything I could have a look at? We're needing to buy giant puppy pads as well because he sometimes leaks through his nappy but there's a laundry service as well so we can wash the sheets 😊

We took a waterproof single sheet with us just in case too 😂 Here’s the link! They fit really nicely in his suitcase x https://amzn.eu/d/izvk7MS
