Teat sizes

I am a first time mum and I was abit clueless and didn’t realise I needed to swap teat sizes! My daughter is 11 weeks old and has been on size 0 mam and I tried her with a 1 and it went down a lot better but obviously she’s meant to be on 2! Do I keep her on 1 (I’m going to have to buy more teats) or do I jump straight to 2 (which I will also have to buy) I know it sounds cheap but I don’t want to buy loads of 1s for her to then need 2 a week later! What would you suggest??

She doesn’t need to be on 2 my daughter was on one till she was about 6 months old every baby is different, I just swapped her bottles from small mam to big mam so didn’t buy any teats

My daughter was on size 0 until 20 weeks, and size 1 until at least 12m. I also combi breastfed, so wanted to keep it as low/slow as possible.

Thank you!! So do you think it’s worth me just buying the 1s if they’re working?

I’ve only just put my daughter on size 2 and she’s 16 weeks. If 1’s work fine then just use them. :)

My daughter is 17 weeks and I still use size 1 with her

Yes just stick with the ones. If your baby is pulling and pulling on the nipple and seems like they want more faster that’s when you should switch. My baby hit the size 2 and then we moved to sippys

If you’re open to it, you could look at Vinted for discounted new & unused teats and bottles! My 10w old is really between size 1&2 right now so I feel your pain!

You don’t need to buy size 2 just from what the packet is saying my baby is still on size 1 and is now nearly 4 months old, it’s entirely up to you if they are taking size 1 fine then just keep them on! Xx

My LO is on 0 at 9wks. We combi feed and she has reflux so want to keep it slow for her. It's working fine atm for her. I wouldn't worry about switching to 2s.
