Am I wrong for being annoyed?
Ive been with my partner nearly 5 years and he is a share fisherman and works away mon-fri. He’s self employed so not under any contract. He usually works about march -September but wasn’t working last year
But he’s picked 2 weeks before baby’s due to go back on the boat and is starting again next week. we have a toddler who I’m nervous about having alone incase I go into labour.

@Sarah no, Im due in 2 weeks he leaves on a Sunday night and gets back on the Friday afternoon. I wanted my mum to be my birthing partner this time he was supposed to have our toddler until afterwards then bring her to the hospital.

Not great timing really is he just going for 2 weeks then coming back? What's the plan if you do go into labour for your toddler anyway and who's going to be your birth partner? I think I would be annoyed unless it's maybe like a couple of hours and he will be home sort of thing, but doesn't sound like that! If he's determined on going Inthonk I would just make a back up plan and make it very clear how you feel x
