Stopping breast feeding

You can just not move onto milk and save yourself the stress. After 1 they get their nutritional needs from their food. So up the cheese, yogurts, leafy veggies etc and whatever has calcium, vitamin D etc in and do it that way. Obviously milk is always preffered as it's a one stop shot of everything they need in one go! But there are other ways too. I also have a EBF baby and she will drink water from a straw cup and maybe sometimes little bit of cows milk too but not near enough to qualify for her daily quota, so I just give her extra foods with the necessary stuff in. My big thing is getting her off the boob for comfort - I can't get her to sleep without it 🤣 Hope that makes sense, and good luck xx

My baby only wants to drink out of cups she sees me drink out of! Have you tried a cup that you would use?

Try the munchkin miracle 360 trainer cup. My boy loves drinking water out of it and it’s no spill. I’m planning to stop bfeeding when he’s 1 in a couple of weeks he only feeds morning and night now. He spat out cows milk when I tried but he eats loads of yoghurt and you can put milk in to thinks (mash and give cheese etc) to make sure they’re getting the calcium x

My baby drink water out of any cup/bottle but he WILL NOT drink milk unless it's from the booby!
