Nursery nap adjustment

Has anyone else’s little ones really struggled with settling into naps at nursery? How long did it take to settle down? My LG is 8 months old and has just started 3 days a week - she usually has two long naps but is refusing naps at nursery and coming home wildly overtired. We’re literally picking her up at 6pm and having to get her ready for bed straight away so I’m not seeing her at all (soooo upsetting) :( Thanks!

My boy is starting nursery in July and this is the one thing I am worried about

My son started nursery at around 11/12 months and would only nap 20mins there, he goes 3 days a week and it took 2-3 months for him to start napping better and settle in, he now really enjoys it and naps better there than at home x

My first started when she was 1, but she actually dropped her second nap because she had such a hard time napping there, they couldn’t fit her second nap in. I think it took about a month or so for her to settle into the nap and she started having 2 naps on occasion or the 1 long nap. It was quite hard honestly, but she got there eventually.

My daughter started nursery at 1 and was having 2 quite long naps. She has never really napped at nursery but makes up for it the days she’s at home. Thankfully it hasn’t affected night sleep, so we just accepted that nursery days she’s goes to bed earlier and might be a bit unhappy whilst getting her ready. Then on non nursery days she has a long nap but bedtime is likely to be quite a bit later. She’s now 2.5.
