I still wind my baby. If he falls to sleep when I give him a bottle before bed, then I don't, but during the day, I always wind him after a bottle. He always brings them up, so he must need it. I don't want him getting uncomfortable
wind them no matter what, the gas that gets trapped up in their bodies can really affect them x
I have stopped winding my wee girl during a bottle for a good few weeks, shes 5 months on friday, and i wouldnt really say i do much winding after a bottle she tends to just burp herself as soon as you sit her up, sometimes she.doesnt but then it will come up eventually and shes never in pain with wind now
Mine doesn’t really need help with it anymore. For ref she’s 16 weeks. I’ll put her over my shoulder and give her back a quick tap more out of habit and to give her a break when she’s trying to guzzle a bottle, but any gas comes up pretty quick or she’ll do it herself when she gets moved about after her bottle. Usually in my ear when I’m carrying her!!
My daughter is four months old and I don’t wind her anymore, she burps and farts like a middle age man all by herself 😂
We are 4.5 months old and still burping. It doesn't take long though. My baby would sometimes bring up a bit of milk also so need to keep him upright anyway x
I would say by now you don’t need to. I havnt winded my bubba in a while. after a feed she burps herself. If your bubba is in discomfort she will soon let you know. But if you’re worried maybe stop winding her in the day and see what she does :)
