Travel cot

We are going on a little caravan holiday this year and looking for travel cot recommendations. We could hire one, but think it would be better to just buy one so we can have it for when our little boy stays overnight at his grandparents houses. Just want something that’s easy to put up and put away and not overly expensive! So any recommendations would be helpful ☺️

The Hauck dream n play is SO easy to use!!

I got the red kite travel cot from Amazon - it’s cheap but really good. You do need to buy an additional mattress though (but it comes up in the “buy these things together” suggestion) https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B001CMB2KC?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

@Lara That’s good to know! Would I need to buy a mattress or does it come with one?x

@Katie ours came with one but it’s just one of those folding padded things so we bought a proper mattress anyway since we had space in the car x

It's not recommended to use mattresses in a travel cot, they're a suffocation/entrapment risk. Because the sides of the cot aren't rigid, the baby's head/face can essentially go between the side and the mattress. If you do get one, make sure it's really thin, like 2cm

I've got the red kite one
