Burping after feed
I exclusively breastfeed my little boy and always burp him after feeding. He falls asleep and looks settled after feeding but when I burp him he then wakes up and becomes unsettled. Is anyone else having this problem? It then takes ages to settle him again

I usually burp after my baby finishes the first boob as she tends to gulp it down. I then offer the second boob and she feeds much calmer on this side so if she falls asleep I don’t burp her.
I didn’t think breastfed babies had to be burped

I watched a video on wonky burping the other day & the lady in that said if breast fed babies fall asleep & are settled after a feed, then there is no need to burp them.
