Period and breastfeeding

Statistically most ebf mothers have a return of their period between 12&18 months, 14months being most common. With my first it was 14 months I got mine back. At 11 months currently and don't have it yet.
Days he isn't in nursery he still feeds more during the day. It's so confusing really Im not sure im ready to wean yet as he still seems to rely on it so much overnight. So conflicted about what to do for the best
For the record too, I still breastfeed my first! I got pregnant while still feeding him A LOT at 22 months.
I’m in the same boat wanted to try to start weaning for more freedom too and to break the feed to sleep cycle but then I also am in two minds as she is very reliant on it for comfort and it’s horrible if I refuse her the boob 😓 was hoping she would naturally wean herself
Yes I’m still breastfeeding but she is still feeding a bit in the day and at night and still no period in sight they say there is still a chance of falling pregnant while breastfeeding unsure of the possibility though but maybe it’ll return once fully weaned? It is confusing I guess everyones body is different also x
