Dummy after tongue tie release

Hello 👋🏼 my baby had his tongue tie release on Monday at 11:30am,the doctor said to avoid the dummy to prevent infection but my baby settles or sleep usually with the dummy…when can I start to give it to him again?

Hey can I ask how your experience was with his tongue tie procedure?

@Melodi hi! My baby is 4 month old and he had his surgery last week Monday,he had it cut with scissor not laser. He was crying/shouting a lot during the surgery and straight away after,all week he has been really unsettled and crying baby when he’s always been happy,smiley and never cry baby… today he seems better so maybe he’s recovering properly. His feeding was really bad last week,when coming on the breast he was keeping crying because of the pain,they have some exercise to do and also that was impossible to do because of crying. So far I didn’t see any improvement in his feeding or in reflux but it says it takes time…
