Your mental health & happiness is far more important than staying in an unhealthy & unhappy relationship. Don’t be scared to leave for that reason do what you gotta do for you & that baby. Leave if you must don’t allow him to manipulate you if those are his true feelings best believe he’ll look elsewhere & cheat, get out while you can

So I sincerely hope that he is a good Dad. Not because if he's a good Dad you should stay together, NOT AT ALL! Moreover, if he is a 'good' Dad, and you are doing the best that you can as a Mom providing nurture & care, then that baby will be LOVED regardless, and your home will not be broken. As someone who grew up in a family where my parents should have separated, but stayed together "for the kids"......don't do that. The kid will know and they will model that behavior as they grow. You deserve to be in a happy, healthy relationship and your kid will be much happier in two happy homes than one unhappy one. And even if you think you can hide it, you can't- they will figure it out.
