Stomach sleepers

7 month old has only rolled a couple of times.. but now seems to make it a regular thing in the night.. then she's on her stomach and isn't rolling back it's giving me really bad anxiety and can't sleep.. should I roll her back or just leave her?? Her head is always to the side but I'm just panicking.

Mine rolled onto her belly in bed for the first time today and I’m scared too!

Aww, dont stress too much. It's probably how she's most comfortable at the moment. My son has been sleeping on his stomach since months old. He just didn't take to back sleeping. I used to test him and lay him on his stomach face down on the sheet to see if he would move his head to the side whilst asleep and he always did. 7 months in, and that's the only way he sleeps. Even if I lay him on his back, he'll turn. Is her cot ect near you? If so, just keep an eye out every now and again if you're a bit worried. X

@Katie i really don't know what to do. I've actually gone in twice to roll her back and she's rolled back onto her stomach again 🫣.

@Alisha she's always been a side or back sleeper.. but tonight she just keeps rolling onto her stomach. She hates tummy time in the day, so it just doesn't make sense why she's doing it now, especially in the night when mama needs sleep. She's now in her own room, but I have her camera on my phone which is currently glued to my hand 🫣 x

Aw bless her. I always felt a bit more at ease when my son was sleeping on his side, and then he just stopped. Babies can be random lol they really do have a mind of their own. I was actually going to add to my post if you have a camera ect will put your mind at ease, so yes that so that's good. I know it's tiresome, especially if she's in her own room. Definitely have your phone to hand xx

Just leave her. She's rolling herself onto her front. My son has been a tummy sleeper for months now and can't roll front to back still. But if I turn him onto his back he just immediately goes back onto his tummy again and so I can't spend all night watching and turning him. He sleeps so good on his tummy.

My boy does this now too. I just leave him as I know he can roll back if he needs to.

Mine does the same. She seems to sleep longer while on her belly but I hate it so I change position in the night luckily stays there. She’s going through a phase of separation anxiety now becoming clingy

My twins are stomach sleepers, my girl has been for months now. I used to try and roll her back, but I’d watch the camera and she’d roll back to her front within 10 minutes so I don’t bother anymore. My boy twin has started sleeping on his front in the last few weeks, but he can’t roll back yet so that bothers me a bit!

I was SO scared when my LO rolled onto his front and slept .. I literally camped out next to his room and unrolled him 🤣 I’ve since learnt that actually if they can roll forwards and back, then they are choosing what feels more comfy and they are SO smart and they will know to keep their head to the side xx
