Yeah, the best is to put them on the potty after a diaper change so they associate the two. We’re almost potty trained. No more diapers

I haven't started yet, and I don't plan to until he's 2 or later. Once he can communicate well that he needs to go potty, then we will start. Training my first went pretty fast like that. We got training underwear off of Amazon that's thicker than normal underwear and no pants around the house for a few days. Whenever he'd start having an accident, we'd run him to the potty. Try not to shame them. Just something like "uh oh! Let's hurry to the potty!" And lots of praise once they're on the potty, or are successful. No treats for a reward.

Yes! We started putting her on potty after naps and after meals. Reading a potty book and we do reward system so we give a chocolate chip after she potty’s in toilet. She associated pookie as potty so whenever she says it now we put her on toilet and she goes right away. We’ve mastered peeing on toilet but not pooping. In public we have a fold up seat that I place on regular seat so she can go in public and switched to pull ups so it’s easier. I plan to have to completed by age 2

Thank you all! I’m just conflicted because I swear kids choose when they wanna do something. First example… babies choosing when they wanna be born😂 but I see wanting to start because diapers aren’t cheap.
