Introducing bedtime formula bottle

Was wondering if anyone had positive experiences of introducing a bedtime bottle of formula? How do you know how much to do when you aren't sure how much breastmik they're drinking? My partner is keen for us to start combi feeding so that he can do some bottles, but not sure when the right time is. Baby is 10 weeks now.

I find my baby sleeps a longer stretch when she has a bottle before bed. She is 9 weeks and currently drinks anything between 4-5oz. She also is breastfed so sometimes she has formula and others she has expressed milk, depending on how much I’ve been able to pump. In general my experience has been positive so far!

We have combi fed from the start as top ups due to initial challenges. It works so well for us and my LO transitions smoothly between breast and bottle but I know every baby is different. We use RTF and I go off the weight guide on the back, she currently has 130ml at 9 wks but does then still breastfeed after it. X

Big fan of combi feeding too, my 9 week old has 1 bottle at around 10pm each night and it helps her sleep a longer stretch. We offer her 180ml but she decides how much she wants - usually around 150ml. Would also recommend lansinoh bottles, they are the only bottle we have got on with. Good luck! 💞
