Read books Tummy time Play with toys (I found 3 that she really likes) Going on walks Singing
Sing songs, read, dance, talk in the mirror, rolly polly (where i just roll her on the bed - back-front- back, then back the other direction). I dont do tummy time, i carry her laying belly on my arm so she still develops muscles. Tummy time does not look fun and she dont enjoy it. I do a lot of repeating her sounds then finding words they are close to. Here ia a video where i do these steps to encourage rolling

I encourage her to move her head on her own.
Tummy time, back/floor time, sing and play with hands/feet etc, I make up songs that move his body (for example using his arms:up down open close clap clap clap) or touch him in some way (itsy bitzy spider) silly faces, read, I walk around and show & tell things in the house- open the cabinets, bathroom mirror time, walks with the dog, i attached some more interactive toys to his bouncer so Im able to set him down for a few minutes. He’s very active, a velcro baby, and is only interested in things for a few minutes or so before we need to move on to the next thing. Im exhausted at the end of the day and some times he still seems unphased 🥴 like okay mom what’s next. He hasn’t tried much to roll over either and doesn’t seem overly interested in toys besides batting at whatever is hanging in front of him 🤷🏻♀️
We are all winging it and going with the flow of our little one's. I have a 17yr old and trust me when I say, they learn all of these milestones naturally. Its the other big kid things we teach, like potty training and holding a pencil.
Walks She had a toy that has music and light she likes and we work on tracking w that Practice grabbing/ holding onto things Tummy time on our chests Helping her stand/ jump bc she likes it Sing songs (not necessarily nursery rhymes, just songs in general) Dance w her/ make her dance by holding her arms and moving them Talking to her as if she can actually understand and when she makes a noise responding to it like “I know right?” Or “see? That’s what I’m saying” or “exactly, that’s my point” bc it teaches them that they get responses when they talk (even tho they’re not talking yet just babbling)
Can someone give examples of the toys they are using?
Reading a book a day (I recommend high contrast and black and white books) and also soft cloth books (my baby loves the hungry caterpillar) I also recommend a toy that plays music and flashes colors. My baby loved it and I had her practice eye tracking. It helped distract her with tummy time as well.
We play to touch nose mouth ear head belly and feet… and I focus so he hold his feet. I put him to play on one side Play in front of the mirror Make him reach a toy Sing songs Reading books
