Baby Girl Won’t Sleep on Her Back
Hi all, I have an almost 5-week old who seems to hate sleeping on her back! She keeps rolling on to her side to sleep or loves to lay on her front. The internet is scaring the hell out of me with the risk of SIDS but every single time I put her down to sleep on her back, she wakes up and cries. Anyone else having this issue or has tips to get her used to back sleeping? Didn’t have this issue with my first baby so this is new territory for me 😩

@Lauren which swaddle do you recommend? I have to love to dream one with the arms up but she didn’t really like it.
I have a 5 week old too, baby #3 And he sometimes sleeps on his tummy too. My sister had a preemie baby and used a breathing monitor, would that give you a peace of mind?
@Daniela honestly I didn’t even think of this! What a good idea. I feel terrible moving her from what is obviously a comfortable position for her but I’m on edge every time she sleeps 😩
You can prop her with towels on the side so she can't turn. Sleeping on the side was the recommended way a few years ago so I wouldn't worry too much as long as she is propped and can't roll.

Have you tried a swaddle? (As long as she’s not completely rolling) sounds similar to my baby and he sleeps through the night now
