Mum friends

How do you genuinely make mum friends? I’ve had this app a while now and you have the odd conversation and then it fizzles out I always seem to find! I moved to wales 3 years ago due to partners work with not knowing anyone and still in the same boat! I don’t have any friends around here or family so things can be quite difficult especially I like to be out the house everyday and doing it all by yourself can sometimes feel lonely especially when you see everyone else out with at least a fiend or family member and you’re all by yourself! My partner also works away a lot of the time so then it really is just me and my daughter!

Completely in the same boat, other than through my partner who is from Wales, I have found it difficult to make long lasting friends here! I'm often down the beach in Barry for Iced Tea and a walk with my 7 week old but it would be nice if others wanted to join me 😊

Feel like I’m in the same boat 😣

It’s so hard to make friends as you get older! I’ve tried baby groups etc but I feel like everyone already knows eachother! I’m back in work part time but on my days off I’m always out and about I have a nearly 1 year old baby boy. Feel free to drop me a message xx

I recently moved to Cardiff, and this app has been really helpful. I've been quite active, always trying to meet new people. I don't spend much time texting. I usually ask to meet for coffee right away. Of course, there are some girls who will randomly ghost you, even if you've been texting for weeks without getting the chance to meet. I don't really understand how people can be so inconsiderate and rude. But overall, I've had a great experience with the girls I did meet in person. We've even started including our husbands and going out for dinner together etc. Of course, most (actually all except one) of the girls are foreigners as well and don't have many friends here, so they're naturally more open to new friendships.
