Breast let down

Hi all, my little girl is 11 weeks and has been exclusively breast fed since birth. I do want to introduce a bottle, so I can have a bit of freedom for date nights etc. I have noticed that when I am feeding her, especially her night feed and morning feed, my let down on the other breast is huge. I accidentally soaked her this morning when feeding 😳 Does anyone use anything/recommend anything to catch this milk? It would be so much nicer to save it, than decorate her pj’s in it! 😂

I use the Boon Trove, it is a collector that also has a bit of suction, so technically it’s a pump. It fits in my bra. I also have a haakaa pump which does the same, but I find it’s more awkward due to the shape and baby often almost knocks it off. You can also get collectors that don’t have suction if you didn’t want to ‘pump’, which I think the brand haakaa also make!

I have 2 Elvie catch cups. They’re share like the boob so I just put them in my bra to catch anything. They’re discreet and a lot less of a faff than having to deal with scrunched up nipple pads

I also have a big letdown and have started using medela collector cups. They fit into your bra and are easy to use and clean 🙂

Haakaa! They have a lady bug shape one that’ll fit in your bra if you don’t want to hold it but I had both kinds and it was fab x

The haaka is great! You can suction the larger one on so I find it gets more than if I just let it drop into the catch cups that I have but they work ok too and like Ryann/Amy said x
