Honestly its naturally just got less and less for us, I didnt force anything, he just stopped giving me the signs that he wanted breast milk the more he started to get into weaning x
No routine here, and no routine with my first. My first fed until he was 19 months, and he naturally just had less and less. By 19 months it was just bed time and over night if he was ill / needed it. If I remember rightly as soon as he started having 3 meals solidly around 13 months he fwd less and less in the day. That being said, it all went out the window anytime he was ill etc
No routine here!!!
I just offer and offer no routine
Same! I’m wondering how I’ll wean her before 1, but not sure it’s going to be possible. Wondering how I’ll ever get her to sleep too!
No set routine here, I still feed on demand. I’m finding her feeding less as she’s starting to eat more, but when she’s poorly she feeds loads again. My first was the same, she managed to cope without it during the day when I was at work and would make up for it when I got home 😁
Responsive breastfeeding/breastfeeding on demand is by far the better approach than any feeding schedule! I actually couldn't tell you how many feeds a day my baby has now 🤷🏻♂️ I don't count, or pay attention tbh 😂
I feed on demand until 8 months but started to put a routine in place because I was finding he wasn’t taking to solids that well. I spaced out his feeds so that he didn’t BF 1 hour before or after solids and I found he ate much better and also had longer feeds. That being said he didn’t seem to notice the change at all so it was easy for us to implement the routine. He now has a big BF in the morning, a small feed pre second nap and I’ve moved him onto a bottle pre bed and no night feeds
I am a no routine mommy😀😀
