The thought of family finances come next year is bringing me down

I just want to share to keep it real. My husband and I have decent corporate jobs and are married. We pay for daycare ($2100/month) in Mass and because of that are moving our first to a $1900/month family daycare so that our two kids can go there next March 2026 after our second is born. We have one paid off Honda Civic and a high mortgage, taxes, etc. I worry about finances a lot. This economy is insane and my husband has been upskilling but no luck in finding a new job that pays more. I feel overwhelmed. Does anyone else feel this way?

My husband and I have chosen to have me be a stay at home mom and we are a little anxious. Both our cars are paid off and we live pretty frugally but groceries are insane! It makes me anxious and we have talked about me going back to work but I would make just enough to pay for child care basically...so I guess I'm staying home for now. But yes you are not alone in your anxiety.
