Low or high milk supply

What do you mamas consider as low flow of milk supplies? Or the highest milk supplies? 6 oz consider high or low supply?

I would say high because a 1-2 month old eats 3-4 oz a feed so if you’re pumping 6 then you have 2 extra

I’d say if you don’t make enough for what baby is eating, that’s low. Anything more than what baby eats is high. You could obviously be very low or very high, but those are my definitions!

I produce 3-4oz normally and consider that just enough!!

@Lynn-Marie do you express pump?

I produce mostly 3oz. I consider myself low

I use my Medela and pump exclusively

I'm only getting drops at times and after 30 min of pumping 2-3 ounces combined max. I probably do 6 ounces a day. We introduced formula very early which was a blessing and curse. Will probably quit the pump soon even though hubby is against it.

Average output when replacing a feed is 2-4 ounces total. After a feed is .5-2 ounces total. Outside of those ranges would be low or high.
