Bedtime takes ages 🫣

Anyone’s toddler takes ages to sleep? Mine takes about 2 hours every night from bath time, book time to actually falling asleep. He refuses to go in his cot before he’s almost asleep and it has to be me not his dad. He’s very cute and cuddly but it’s really exhausting! I have a full time job and he goes to nursery 4 days a week.

Mines the same unless she hasn’t had a nap that day. Makes it so hard as she’s shattered in a morning and I can’t wake her up for nursery! Following for the tips 😵‍💫

Yes! It takes a similar time for us too. Every single night, no matter how long nap was, or what time he woke up that day, whether he’s been to nursery or not 🙄 everything is a battle, pyjamas, toothbrush, going in his room, getting in the cot. I have to take deep breathes some times 😑😂 I get lots of cuddles too but it’s tiring and I really don’t get much time in the evenings after he’s asleep 🤦🏼‍♀️

Same with the toothbrush, getting dressed and getting in his cot battle 😆 Mine still has a 1.5/2 hour nap and ideally I would cap it to one hour to get him to sleep early but his nursery has a policy that they’re not allowed to wake children up which is weird 🤨

Im the same 2 hours to settle down falls asleep at 10 pm !! Nightmare

My Son goes to bed at around 7:30-8pm and normally takes him anywhere between 10-30 mins to settle. He doesn’t nap during the day. He is in a toddler bed and has done since 18m old x

@Chelsea Lewis wow that sounds ideal. What time does he wake up? Mine sleeps 9’sh-7:30 then naps for 1.5/2 hrs. He’s super active so he gets very tired in the afternoon and not ready to drop his nap

My little boy wakes up between 7-8am then down for a minimum 2 hour nap (sometimes sleeps for more) then down for the night at 8pm sleeps through. My secret is tire them out then feed them well 😂
