I think something is wrong with my bestie

She had a baby april 8th and we have been talking all day every since but she hasn't messaged me back since Sunday and I'm getting worried about her I've texted so many times and even called she lives two hours away and I don't have a car so I can't go to her house I'm worried and don't know what to do

I’m sure this is the obviously solution, but, Anyone you can have check on her locally? Or maybe send her like uber eats and ask them to make sure she answer the door to receive it?

I like the Uber eats idea. I texted my BD and asked if i could take his car when he gets off work we have a pretty good relationship so I'm sure he'll either take me or let me use the car

PPD or just our exhaustion will have you ignoring people who you know mean well. She could be self isolating, that’s what I did. I spoke to no one, even I hardly spoke to my boyfriend when he was home. It’s a really dark place. You’re a really good friend for being so concerned and caring. There’s no one she loves with you can contact or no one in her family you talk to? That way maybe you can see if she’s replied or talked to anyone else recently ?

I don't have her boyfriends number or anything I also am not from there so don't know anyone upthere either

Does she live with her boyfriend / someone else? If there are people she lives with or that are close by to her she sees often then I would assume they are taking care of her and give her some time to get back to you when she is feeling less overwhelmed. But if she lives alone and you know her address the uber eats idea is a good one

I love the Uber eat idea, think it's a brilliant one and if you know her direction, you could definitely do it apnd almost be as a care-package thing. Who wñouldn't love some hot nice food being sent esppecially in a hard apnd very busy period. You could also say it has been planned as a simple gesture instead of saying you got so worried, just as not to pass away negative energy to her during these times.

You can call the police department in her county and ask them to do a “wellness check” and tell them the situation and you are very concerned. But it has to be 24hrs+ for them to go there. You just have to tell them her name and address and possibly your name. I had to do this with one of my friends that lives back home in Jersey when I now live in NC. I gave them her name and address and they kept knocking and searched the outside premises and then she finally answered. I hope you look into this for real if you really are this concerned.
