No, it’s just not worth the risk
Not worth the risk
No.
No absolutely not, soon as he falls asleep I take him out x
No x
Don't know what age they are but ours did when much younger. HV actually suggested it. We were always there.

@Jazmine he is 3 months old and sometimes he falls asleep in it so I wasn’t sure if it’s okay to let him sleep there 🙈
@Donna Woods thank you! My baby boy loves his bouncer so sometimes he falls asleep in it but I wouldn’t leave him alone in the room
As in a bouncer chair or a door bouncer/jumperoo? Yes to the bouncer chair, no to the others.
@Vicki I read it as bouncer chair. I’m hoping that’s the case otherwise my opinion is very different 😅
I read it as in a jumperoo type thing which is why I said no. If you mean swing chair my opinion is different and I think it’s ok for short periods of time completely supervised. Although I did read an awful post about someone putting their baby in a swing chair and watching a 1.5hr movie with her friend, they thought baby was asleep but he’d actually died whilst they were watching the movie from positional asphyxiation, so when I say short period of time I do just mean like 30 mins max and I’m always checking him😅
@Elsha that's awful 😥

I wouldn’t, I know 15 minutes isn’t long but it’s longer than how long it’ll take for them to die of asphyxiation if they fall asleep in a position they can’t breathe in!
@Vicki bouncer chair 🪑
@Donna Woods yes bouncer chair
@Elsha I meant the chair/ baby swing chair/ rocker & that’s absolutely horrible! I feel anxious leaving my baby for too long in the bouncer now 😢 sometimes he does fall asleep but I will try and limit this
@Emy I agree but I feel like he can breathe in the bouncer that we have it’s Joie dreamer it’s quite flat! But maybe it does make breathing more difficult I’m not sure 🤔
@Agnese unless it’s completely flat, firm and horizontal it’s not intended for sleep unfortunately. Their airways are very small and delicate and they have very heavy heads compared to their weak necks. The lullaby trust have some good info to help. Also had a look and the joie dreamer is still in an upright curved position, so definitely not for sleep x
@Emy Sounds very risky! Thanks for replying I will definitely do more research and try to take him out as soon as he gets sleepy.
For short periods of time if I am watching her. But not for more than 15 mins or if I’m not permanently in the room watching her due to the risks involved
