Just applied for financial aid for school

Proud of myself lol question is. I have no idea what i want. I live close to a hospital and two things I know what I want is 1 a stable schedule/income and 2 something professional and I can be proud of. I got on and saw they have a few CNA positions and also Patient access representative, Radiology technologist/ assistant But I have no clue what those really intel or if I’d even like ? Your opinion/thoughts?

talk to a career adviser and do research. take an assessment online that determines what career is good for you.

I had 3 different majors in undergrad and I work in something completely different than what I went to school for 😅 and now starting a business that’s unrelated to alllll of it but is related to a childhood dream 🤣 I was also early 20s with no children Practical makes sense but if it’s not something you enjoy and are interested in it’s going to be hard to learn, pursue, and proceed So like she said above check out the career services department and ask for some guidance on interests and skillset

Thank you, ladies. I had reached out and I have an appointment set up to speak with an advisor. I’m hoping I can get some answers cause I’m not enrolling if they don’t have anything I’m interested or looking into. And honestly, it looks like in my area it’s in high demand so I just want something that’s high demand in my area.😅😅 n maybe like it. At this point I’m surviving so I’ll do anything.

You don’t want to just do anything though Unless you do I don’t know you lol But if you’re going to school it’s worth doing something you enjoy

@Asha i feel like it’d be useless to do something i like if nothing in that field is hiring locally. But I definitely understand what you are meaning. Thank you

I understand what you’re saying But it’s also horrible to be stuck in a career that you hate You can always move You can always be fired Life always shifts At least some transferable skills “practical” isn’t always practical but you’ll get more insight when you talk to your career advisors
