@Louise I’m not yet letting him through the night but this is my issue, I’m so tired because he won’t settle. Hopefully he’ll learn to roll soon so that he can sleep on his tummy!!
My boy exactly. Contact naps and tummy sleeping during daytime. At night, my solution is co sleeping. That’s the only thing that worked for me, and I’ve been practicing the safe sleep, which ofc is not for everyone. My baby is not a deep sleeper and plus he has reflux, so he grunts a lot which wakes me up easily.
@Imane sounds identical to mine!! I’ve been co sleeping as it’s the only way I actually get any sleep!
I think lying on their tummy during day time while being supervised is fine. My little boy does it as well sometimes x
I let mine sleep during the day on his tummy in the sleeping nest/pod on the kitchen table. I always watch him and have a chance to eat lunch or cook at that time. I don’t leave him alone in the room. If I put him on his back he wakes up after couple of minutes. We co-sleep at night. I had a small win yesterday evening: he slept on his back in Moses basket for 10-15 minutes! And once he slept in the pram on his back for 1,5 hours (I had to move the pram nonstop).
@Zhuldyz oh yes, prams and car rides, my baby can sleep for hours. But it has to be moving 🥲.
Right here with you but I didn’t even think to let her nap on her tummy 🙈🤣 definitely will be trying that as my back is in bits from all of the carrier naps I’m doing! Currently surviving the night by splitting it with my partner/ constantly trying her back down. Some nights I get 15 mins, very occasionally I get a couple of hours! My son slept on his tummy from the minute he could so I have my fingers crossed for my daughter too!
@Jane sorry you aren’t getting much sleep, it’s not easy! I’m a tummy sleeper so I can see why babies like it!
My boy is the same and he naps on his tummy. Not at night yet though. When they learn to roll they generally prefer sleeping on their tummy anyway. My first started rolling from back to front at 3 months so that's when he started sleeping on his tummy.
