Fiance left and doesn't want to help at all

So I am trying to get some support from my kids dad he left and was the primary bread winner in the house I work part time but now I can't get him to help me with anything he said he moving into his own place and can't help me at all. All the bills are due it's the 1st. I am now stuck trying to scramble we are on housing assistance but I still have rent portion 800, car note, insurance, kids need things, food and he told me today he isn't helping what can I do? I need help still this hurts I didn't think he was like this person.

Well first get him on child support through the courts and look at public resources

Call 211, they can connect you to resources and help. Would you ever abandon him and your kids? He is showing you who he is. I'm in the Saint Paul area often, if you need help connecting to local resources, I can help find them here or elsewhere in MN. I had to start over with two kids by myself. It is hard but possible. You can begin to heal and you can have peace in your life

In Minnesota you have to file for child support in order to receive benefits so first I’d go do that then I’d start working out a custody agreement if you don’t already work I’d get on that there’s a job core in most downtown areas that will also help with childcare
