Dropping dream feed

Anyone else’s baby wanting to drop their bedtime dream feed? For context she usually is down and asleep for bedtime with a 6 ounce bottle by 6:30pm, we have always given her another bottle at 10pm (dream feed) without waking her and probably 4 nights out of the week she will sleep through. The last week she just doesn’t want her dream feed and screams and cries to go back to sleep until we stop offering her it, even if she wakes in the night after this she may only take 2 ounces or nothing. Should we take that as she wants to drop it?

Yeah definitely, baby doesn't need that dream feed

We used to dream feed around 10:30/11pm but dropped it a few months ago. My lo has coped well and we just do four bottles of 8oz now with bedtime between 8:30 and 9pm. Definitely sounds like your little one is ready to drop it now though

Yep our girl refused dream feed at 4 months and has been sleeping 7-6 every since (now 5 months)

@Katie what time do you wake up to do the first feed of the day?😊

@Lauren if she doesn’t wake for a bottle in the night she naturally wakes around 6:15 am and then wants her first bottle at 7:30 am usually, tbh this is even if she wakes in the night x

@Rachel oh that’s really good! X

@Lauren my lo gets up anywhere between 8:30-9am 🙂 so we tend to do 9,1,5 and 9 x
