Overbearing grandparents

Like you wouldn’t believe! My MIL currently not speaking to me 🤦🏼‍♀️

Yep! Sometimes they’re fine, but sometimes I get so ridiculously angry about it. They asked to have my little one on Tuesdays just to spend time with him, I agreed. They’re away on holiday for a week, MIL said last week “how will you cope having him all week for two weeks?” As if I’m incapable of parenting my own child, just because I allow her to have him once a week 🫠

I just find them so intense and OTT, like I’ve given birth to their child. I hate spending time with them now 😭

Is it their first grandchild?

First grandson, they have 2 granddaughters but they live in Wales.

Maybe that’s the reason for the possessiveness..

Yes same here and they speak Spanish so it's hard to explain to them, they don't understand basic hygiene or safe sleep 😭
