Is anyone else’s LO having trouble getting to sleep?

My LG is 13 months old, she was never a great sleeper but just as we was getting into a good routine and nights she would settle herself it’s now become a battle to get her to sleep. What time does your LO go to bed? I was thinking I might need to push her bedtime back as she might not be tired enough but looking at her and the signs she’s seems ready for sleep.. she’ll look like she’s settling then she cries and cries. just banging my head against a brick wall at this point…

Oh my 13 month old is exactly the same, it’s like a constant battle for naps and bed time. My little boy was never a good sleeper either but we did have getting to sleep down (although he was never a self soother, I always had to help him to sleep) but now it can take 20/30 minutes to get him to sleep. I thought about making his wake window longer too but he also shows the signs of being tired and I don’t think he would do longer without moaning but then when it comes to going to sleep it takes forever. I put my little one to bed between 7/7.30 depending on when woken up from last nap but I don’t let him sleep later then 3.30. If anyone has any suggestions I would also love it. Also my little one is an early riser too no matter what time he goes to bed!! Haha

@EileenIt’s so tough, especially at this age where they can’t verbally say what’s wrong. My little girl is sometimes taking 2 hours to fall asleep, and crying a lot of the time. I don’t let her last nap of the day go past 3 and she used to be ready for bedtime around 6:30 but recently she doesn’t fall asleep until 8-9. It is possible her bed time is now too early but by 6 she looks exhausted, is very unsettled and rubs her eyes a lot. It’s all trial and error 😂 she’s also an early riser not matter what!

We are the same. My daughter is also 13 months. I think it's the weather or/and teething for us. My room has been really warm these last couple of days. Currently my thermometer says 24°degrees and we are used to 18° degrees. She's slept once for 30mins 10:30-11am today and has literally just gone down now at 9pm. I don't know how she's stayed up this long. She usually has 1 nap a day at 12:30/ 1pm for one to two hours but fell asleep early today. I gave her some nurofen tonight as I think her teeth were hurting her, and it seems to have worked. She fell asleep 20mins afterwards. Last week she was sleeping at 7 or 8pm - 7am. She always wakes at 7am. Could your baby maybe be ready to drop to one nap a day? Might be worth a try and you can always change it back to two if it doesn't work for you guys 💕x

same issue!! my lb’s actually napping longer in the day though because of how much he’s struggling at night😓. i’m absolutely shattered😅
