Separation anxiety

My daughter is 7.5 months old and has awful separation anxiety. It started around 6 months and just hasn’t let up at all. She is fine with my husband but literally no one else. I cant leave the room for even a minute because she will cry (even though I do because it’s impossible to always have her with me!) Tonight my mum was over who she used to be so content with. I hopped in the shower for 1 minute and I’ve never seen her SO upset. It took half an hour to settle her when she’s usually ok within a few minutes! I’m going back to work in 2 months time and genuinely am terrified it’s not going to get any better and be so awful for all involved 😭

No advice but just here to say we’re in the same boat! My daughter will sometimes even cry with my husband if she can hear me in the house, it’s so exhausting but I’m sure they’ll grow out of it eventually. If I need to leave her I have to stay in the room while she’s with whoever she’s staying with for the time and sneak out without her seeing me!🤣🤯

Honestly it’s so exhausting isn’t it! I don’t mind most of the time because I’m with her so it’s fine but it’s the panic of her and my mum both not coping when I go back to work 💔 but you are right they will grow out of it!

Mines 13 months now and can't even be gone for more then a few hours without him (he stays with dad when I go out) and he's loosing his marbles.
