my baby at that age would have anywhere from 8oz-13oz per bottle. 13oz before night and he’d still wake up 4 hours later for another 8oz🙃 if your baby has started weaning try giving some porridge before bed to try and fill him a little longer. Probably a growth spurt but some are just mega hungry and like their milk x
@Lottie that's reassuring thank you. the health visitor told me he shouldn't have any more than 34oz in 24 hours and he's way over so I've been stressing 😭 I'll up his bottles see if he settles better and yeah he has baby rice most nights couple of hours or so before bed but doesn't seem to make a difference x
I listened to my HV for ages and didn’t allow him over 32oz but then I thought sod it, can’t put a number on it if my baby is hungry I’m going to feed him. I did however try to not go over 40oz as I did think that was quite excessive 🤣 my boy has just turned 1 and has dropped to 2 bottles morning and night and only has around 16oz so it doesn’t last forever I say give him what he wants ☺️ yeah it never made my boy any fuller but I know it helped others x
@Lottie 13oz per bottle? What bottles were you using? I didn’t realise you could get any that big 😂
I had to use 2 mam bottles😴 did a 8 and a 5 x
If he’s draining the bottle then add another oz for his next bottle. I don’t think hungry baby milk will make a difference . Some babies are just hungry babies
