My little boy has had one for a couple of years now & he likes to have his on to help him to fall asleep.
I know my daughter wants one but I was disappointed that a lot of the songs aren't the original singers (probably royalties or something). At least for her favorite movies I think she would notice. That's just me though.
No, you can do it.. you can put a song up from your phone. You don’t really need it.
Yoto works well for us. A lot cheaper.
I have 2! My boys each have their own tonie box and love them! We have soooo many Tonies that tell stories, sing songs, and teach them cool facts. They also have Tonies that will teach your kids phrases in different languages. They are definitely worth their price point. Another thing I love about them is they have a parents app that you can download on your phone and add extra stories or songs to some of the Tonies so the kids can listen to new stuff without having to buy a new Tonie.
We prefer the Yoto but they're very similar!
My daughter has a Yoto and she listens to it every day especially in the car I think she likes being able to control what we listen to lol
We have a Yoto too. It lasts longer in terms of ages as there are more older children books
i feel they’re only worth it for the creative tonies. nonetheless, my son has curated himself his own playlist and uses it multiple times a day
Team Yoto here. Much cheaper, more choice, more stories with original voice actors, you can make your own, it’s a room thermometer, nightlight, alarm, has daily quizzes and podcast, plays white noise and soundscapes, lullaby radio. We love ours.
If you're looking for a more reasonable version look in to the yoto/yoto mini 😊 it doesn't have figures but it has cards and it is really good, my 2 year old got one for Christmas and she loves it. The cards sell at about half the price of the tonies figures and at a certain point children will get bored of the cutesy things and think it's babyish. The yoto has more potential to be interesting for a bigger age range.
