22 month old. In a cup and we offer after breakfast, after nap and before brushing teeth at bedtime. She doesn't always want it.
It's been a few weeks since we switched from bottle to cup. My LO will drink a small cup before bed at night. (He used to drink a lot more when we used to give the bottle)
Mine has been using a straw cup for his milk since 13mo, he also does 3x about 4oz each. We were at 4x but it impacted his solids so we dropped it
Just whenever he asks. Our pediatrician recommended no more than 16oz per day and I don’t think he’s ever really had more than that but I don’t keep track really. He’s never had regular milk from a bottle, just breastmilk and we stopped bottles right around age 1. Straw cups or open cups.
He's been drinking milk out of an open cup since he was 2. He has one in the morning with his breakfast & sometimes one before he goes to bed.
What do you do if you're outside or have travelled far? For example if I've spent the whole day out or driving she might ask for it, therefore bottle and formula is easier
Pack a lunch bag that’s insulated with a cooler if you really want her to be able to have milk on the go. Toddler formula really isn’t necessary unless medically indicated as she’s well past the 12 month mark.
I can’t even get my toddler to drink or want milk. :/ she hasn’t wanted anything milk based aside from yogurt and maybe a smoothie occasionally since she weened from toddler formula. Any suggestions?
@Halee I don’t know if this helps with yours, but for us we started changing one thing at a time. So when we introduced dairy for about a week I’d warm the milk, and feed her from a bottle. She didnt want it at first but I persevered before naps and she realised she liked it despite being a new taste. Then I stopped warming it and gave her cold milk with a bottle which she was also ok with. Then I warmed it again but removed the nipple from the bottle so she was drinking it from the base like a cup. This was a bit messy at first but now normal. Next is to stop warming it and move to an actual cup. This step by step approach worked for us - hope it helps x
In a cup and when she asks for it. No set times.
