Hope you are doing okay! I have also been put onto weekly appointments, it just seems crazy I had 2 normal readings and 2 abnormal ones so I am guessing they are erring on the side of caution. Fingers crossed everything stays well for the two of us ❤️
I had this the last two weeks of my pregnancy, was on medication which brought it down nicely. They didn’t want me to go over 39 weeks because of it though
Hi, mine has gone high around the same time. I was given medication and told to monitor blood pressure at home and take it when needed. They said I will need to be induced early but I will be declining!!
@Emma fingers crossed I can wait until baby is ready, they’ve not mentioned induction yet but I guess it differs between different areas
@Shanna good luck! Hoping I don’t have to, they haven’t mentioned anything to me yet and I was very boarderline and left with it being 132/80 so fingers crossed the medication is enough x
I had this when I turned about 32 weeks, stayed consistently high and then I ended up admitted on medication. They ended up inducing me last week at 38+1 x
@Holly that sounds stressful. Hope all is well with the little one ❤️
I had this with my first at 38+ 5 and stayed in hospital as they were waiting to induce but I went into labour naturally and had an “augmented labour” (waters broken and hormone drip). Mine stayed high with medication though just not crazy high.
This happened to me on Monday! BP has been fine throughout so it shocked me. For me, I’m also on medication and have to go in weekly for readings. I’ve been reviewed and I do have to have baby early, but the consultant confirmed that it’s not due to my blood pressure it’s other factors. It’s really anxiety provoking so can completely relate 🤍
