TV affecting sleeping

So since my little one has started nursery I’ve noticed these two nights she goes she sleeps through the night. Before hand she would wake between 2-6 times, I tried yesterday for her to have no screen time and she only woke once for her dummy and went straight back off Anyone else noticed anything like this??

They do say you should limit blue light before bed, it tricks the brain into thinking it's daytime x

I always find it harder to sleep if I have my phone or tv on before I go to bed. I now have a blue light filter on my phone scheduled everyday from 8pm and then turn my tv light low for this reason, and off before bed. It absolutely does impact sleep as the brain suppresses the production of melatonin because of the blue light and therefore, makes for an unsettled night. There’s been loads of research on it that I’ve been going through recently because of my own sleep struggles x

It could also be what she’s doing instead of tv. TV is very sedentary as an activity and doesn’t really burn off energy. If that’s replaced with her doing things that mean she’s moving and thinking she’ll get more tired and her brain will have loads more to be processing and sorting in her sleep.

Thanks all, we only really used tv when trying to get things done but my partner would always put it on before bed and I would always try tell him I think it’s affecting her sleep. Going to try to minimise to barely any tv and no tv after 3 to see if it helps. Plus now summers coming we can get out most days which help!!
