Please help with tips and ideas 😩

Really need some help as I am struggling! So my 16 month old is still breastfeeding as she has always refused drinking from a bottle, sippy cup, open cup (you name it I have tried it!). She wakes up every 1/2 hours at night for a feed and it is killing me! In 16 months I haven’t had a full night sleep and it is really getting to me mentally now as I am back to work. My parents tried to look after her last night while I spelt in a different room and it was absolutely carnage. She cried so much she started vomiting so I had to go to her. She can go during the day without breastfeeding as she eats solids but during the night she need feeding a lot. Is anyone been in a similar situation and have any tips? Please help 😫

I can relate! I really recommend the weaning course by Lucy Webber, we're not 100% weaned yet but the course really helped me. She has a link in her bio. Her Instagram is lucywebberfeedingsupport_ibclc x

@Kalinka thank you so much! Will take a look at this

I’m still bf too as little one will not take any other type of milk! She used to get me up frequently to feed at night too. Did a lot of research and tried different things, we found high protein meal for lunch and dinner helped keep her fuller for longer. If she woke before midnight for feed I would just bounce her back to sleep and not give in, if she woke again within 4hrs I would do the same - no milk just bounce back to sleep. Some nights she kicked up a fuss at first and it was hard work but after a few nights of this (less than a week!) she started sleeping past midnight and woke less often! We are now down to one feed at night around 2am, she will then sleep until 7am. It’s so tough but keep going and trying different things xx

@Megan awh thank you! She’s such a fussy eater as well but will defo try get more protein in her. Just need to power through some how! Xx
