Naps and screaming

Hello all, my baby boy who is 12 weeks now, regardless of where he naps(contact, next to me, cot..) he wakes up screaming bloody murder every single time. And the weird part ia that he seems to still be asleep as his eyes are still closed and when he opens them, he looks confused. We literally have to pinch him so he wakes up and stop crying. This doesn’t happen at night. At night he wakes up all smiling, wiggles till i wake up and change him, feed him and goes back to sleep. Also he never naps longer than 45-50 min. I understand is something related to him not being able to link the sleep cycles, but how can i help him? He seems to be in sleepwalking kinda situation at the end of each nap.. Does this happen to anyone else? And what do you to make them nap longer and not wake up screaming and crying.. Thank you!
