@Zeynep thanks I think I'll try capping! When do you tend to get him to nap if he wakes up at 7ish?
@Rachel around 11:45 I'll get him into his room, play a little until 12 and soothe him for 5 mins to prepare him for napping and he will be asleep by 12:30. I wake him up around 2pm or just before to give him time to wake up slowly so he doesn't end up crying
My boy goes down for his nap at 12:30pm after lunch and will sleep anything from 45 mins onwards. Most of the time he’s still asleep at 2pm but we always wake him then, so he never sleeps more than 1.5 hours. He then sleeps through from 7:30pm until 7-8am x
We tend to cap my LO’s nap to about an hour and 40 minutes now. 2 hours max if she had a bad nights sleep the night before. This seems to of helped us a lot with nighttime sleep x
I’ve always capped naps to protect night time sleep. Currently she has 1.5 hours and sleeps 8pm-7am
Gets up 5-6 I don’t do scheduled naps, she naps when she naps Sometimes she falls asleep about 11 sometimes she falls asleep about 2 Sometimes (like today) there’s no nap I just dont let het nap past half 3 Bedtime is 7-8
My little one was the same. Always waking up during the night many times. I've realised that shorter naps means earlier bed time and no wakes up at night. He would sleep 2-3 hours but I minimised to 1.5 hrs or 1 hr depending what time he woke up in the morning- 7-8am usually. He always fights his naps but once down he doesn't want to get up. I have to force him to get up by being playful. Hope this helps!!
