Definitely not odd me and my husband take showers and baths with our son , not together but it just makes night time routine go by faster obviously won’t be continued when older and can recognize body parts but definitely a very normal thing
It’s not odd at all
What I find more odd is her asking if you wear a swimsuit…how can you bathe if you’re covered? 😂 I wouldn’t worry, your child your choice…there’s no harm in it at all!
nothing wrong with that
I shower/bathe with my son. As does my husband. My dad literally showered with my son last night after they’d been in the garden for the afternoon. My son is 2.5. There’s nothing weird at all about having no clothes on around your own child, until either the adult or the child starts to become uncomfortable with it.
My dad used to shower with me when I was little (more my dad was showering and my mum would pass me to him to wash). I don't think it's weird. I also tell my husband to take our son into the shower with him to teach him how to wash properly. Our son is 2.5
It’s not strange at all , people who find it weird are the strange ones ,
I think it’s healthy to be naked around your children/not immediately cover up (up to a certain age) it hopefully promotes body positivity and encourages them to ask questions & learn. My mum never covered when we were younger (not bathing) but just getting dressed etc & to this day I feel comfortable talking to her about anything
@Emily this exactly. Bodies and bodily functions are nothing to be ashamed of, hidden, etc in our house. My husband recently helped our 9yo by helping them with a pad, children should be able to ask their parents for help, as I was outside, and not so nicely asked a so-called friend to leave when they gave him shit for it. They’ve since apologized but still. Any kid should be able to ask a parent for help without shame, that’s what a parent is for.
Not odd at all, my parents used to bath with me
Sounds like a her problem not a you problem! Be more odd wearing a swimsuit lol
Not odd at all!
I don’t think that’s odd at all.
