I don’t think Pilates has anything to do with that or your core. I’ve never done it. And I don’t have problems with bladder control. As long as you have a strong pelvic floor you should be good.
Girl even when I had a super strong core, I'd occasionally pee a tiny bit when I sneezed lmao I think it WAS the strong core 😂 like if I had drank anything and not peed since, I'd cross my legs when I sneezed just in case (and yes I even did kegels). Now after my child it's somehow even more occasional, like i haven't crossed my legs to sneeze in ages, and the only difference imo is my core isn't nearly as strong 🤷♀️
Do pelvic floor therapy if you’re peeing without meaning to. It’s more than just kegels. So helpful
@Madeline I legit just remembered my friend telling me (shes a pelvic floor pt!! Not a super close friend but a friendly acquaintance!) that sometimes urinary incontinence isn't about a weak pelvic floor either; sometimes it too strong and actually needs to work to relax! Completely forgot about that until you mentioned pelvic floor therapy lol now I wonder if that's why it's so much better for me after having a kid!!
@Kelsey mine was too strong and I did therapy and it helped so much!!
