bed swap ?? 🛏️

Hi mamas! question about beds! my boy si 10 month old today and this week he start to pull himself up in the bed and wait there till mama arrived. obviously it’s stressing me the * out so it’s probably time to drop his mattress at the level 2 where he is much more close to the ground. the thing is i am 5 feet 1 inch , and it’s not the kind of bed u can lower the railling so im pretty sure i wont be able to put im him down and for him to stay asleep because thats the only way he’ll sleep in his bed, i did not manage to let him fall asleep on his own in his dark room by himself… and i am ok with that. At what age did u swap for a floor bed? is it to soon ?

I’m not much taller than you and and the same problem with the cot 😂 Absolutely not too soon for a floor bed! X

You can get baby rails to put on the side of normal beds so they don’t roll out. I’ll be the same as soon as my LO figures it out 🙈😂

Whatever is comfortable for you! 7-8 months old with a floor + regular toddler bed with my first born. My second is 4 months old and will be transitioning to his twin bunk bed with his brother at 6+ months old . That’s also if he’s ready too!

Def not too soon for floor bed! My son hated a crib since he was a baby, i had a floor bed for him since he was about 8 months. And it has little railing on the side so he doesn't roll off while sleeping (cause he sleep crawls when sleeping)

Montessori says you can start a floor bed from birth. Just make sure the room is well baby proofed.

I’d lower the setting in his crib until you get a floor bed if that’s what you wnat. My baby is 10 months old and see lowered the bed to the lowest setting bc he would potentially stand and figure a way to crawl over the rail - for saftey.
